Welcome! Here you will find articles about activities related to the new Cakes for the Queen of Heaven curriculum and its use in Unitarian Universalist congregations and in other organizations. This site is a combined effort of Unitarian Universalist Women and Religion core group and various Cakes and W&R groups.

This program explores the archeological evidence of Goddess worship in the ancient roots of civilization, when the divine was seen as female. The influence of mainstream religions on our position in society will be investigated and we will examine the emergence of the women’s spirituality movement.
Part 1, will be held for five months, on the second Wednesday of each month, from 7-9pm. With the exception of March where this conflicts with APS spring break. The dates are as follows: Jan. 11, Feb. 8, March 7, April 11, and May 9. Classes covering Part 2, On the Threshold, will resume in September.
Rieka Long will be leading class sessions in her home and group size is limited.
